MUSCLE STRAINS

When muscle fibres are stretched or ripped, a muscular strain, also known as a pulled muscle, results. Overusing muscles, using them incorrectly, or making rapid, violent motions are common causes. Any muscle in the body can suffer from a muscle strain, which ranges in intensity from minor to severe. Note that a strain includes damage to a muscle or to the band of tissue that connects a muscle to a bone, whereas a sprain involves an injury to the bands of tissue that join two bones together. At Run Ready, we provide a unique sports physiotherapy model that delivers a professional standard rehabilitation experience. We optimise recovery from all types of injuries via an integrated process of sports physiotherapy and rehab in our state-of-the-art strength and conditioning facility.

MUSCLE STRAIN THERAPY

Doing poor body mechanics to move something heavy, might result in strains. When you repeatedly strain a muscle by doing the same activity, you run the risk of developing chronic muscle strains. Our expert team thoroughly assess injuries using VALD testing equipment, giving unparalleled insight into injury risk, physical deficits and goal setting.

Our mission is to provide local athletes with professional level sports rehabilitation through our sports physio programs, helping them return to the sport they love.
