Individual and Competent Care for Optimal Return to Play

Personalised patient care is one of the things that we are proud of here at Run Ready. Our return to sports program, sports-specific sports injury treatments, and sports physio all start with an initial assessment where we take into account your current and previous injuries, medical history, disabilities, workout regimens before and after injury, and degree of injury. We utilise only the latest diagnostic techniques and technology to identify the appropriate services that you need. From experienced strength and conditioning trainers to competent running coaches to qualified sports physios and high-performance training experts, we’ve got what it takes to take you to the next level on your return to play whether you’re an elite athlete, an amateur, a school athlete, a fitness buff, or a kid with some growing pains.

We are excited to offer physio lead small rehabilitation classes. To optimised your rehab it’s critical to recondition your body through a detailed strength and return to running program. Our rehab classes will expertly guide you through this process in our state of the art gym.

Toorak, 3142

Truly a gem in the heart of Melbourne, Toorak is a suburb that reflects opulence and luxury that is unbeatable. Bordered by South Yarra, Williams Road, Malvern, Glenferrie Road, Prahran, Armadale and Malvern Road, it is known to be one of Australia’s most exclusive neighbourhoods, which have streets lined up with grand mansions and sprawling gardens and yards that don’t come unnoticed by passersby. Aside from being a hub of sophistication, elegance, and high class, Toorak is also a centre for fitness and wellness and at Run Ready, we believe and understand how this plays an important role in your life. Our team of qualified and experienced strength coaches, run coaches, and sports physiotherapists ensure that you can maintain the right balance between luxury and health.

Areas we Treat

At Run Ready, we use the VALD testing equipment that consists of other devices like force plates, nordbord. This equipment can accurately measure your power, strength, and endurance capabilities by providing real-time data that are unbiased, which helps us design a program that fits all your goals and needs.

Getting sports physiotherapy treatment from qualified and experienced sports physiotherapists like ours at Run Ready will give you the best value for your money. It helps you recover from your current injury, helps prevent further injuries, educates you on how to take care of yourself better, improves your form and technique, and boosts your overall athletic performance in the safest and most effective way.

Yes, it’s possible to claim insurance for sports physiotherapy treatments. If you’re part of our Gold rehab subscription or are part of our pay-as-you-go physio appointments, you can claim insurance by using code 500 for initial appointments and code 505 for follow-up appointments.

There is no fixed period on when you can start sports physiotherapy treatments after an injury because each person’s situation and injury are different. The general rule is to seek professional help or book a sports physio appointment at least 48 to 72 hours after an injury.

There’s a wide range of sports physio treatments that sports physiotherapists use to treat athletes’ and non-athletes injuries.

  • Sports massage
  • Taping
  • Hands-on techniques like mobilisation
